My guess is Kim Jong wants to ask for help much like we give other small Nations caught between Russia's and China's and of course our (USA) energy war. I bet it's tough for the Koreans to exist too. I guarantee every Veteran we have who fought them will say they have great Respect and like us will fight to the death to keep it. I would take a chance and just maybe Kim Jong is considering our (USA) side of things.
Korea is in the news again, I think they were told once if they try to launch a rocket with nuclear capabilities we are going to explode it right over their heads. Korea feels they have ownership of the oil under their soil and off shore near their country, there are others who feel different.
I don't think Obama or any well known politicians literally have the balls to go to Korea. I think when you get a new neighbor, in this case the son of an old neighbor, you go to their home and welcome them to the neighborhood as big as it may be. FYI I have never watched an entire NBA game in my life but enjoy the highlights and great moments in great players lives. I watched Rodman be the most aggressive player in the league at the time so this befits someone of that character.
Wouldn't it be spectacular if this colorful non-conformist had as much effect on people as Jimi Hendrix did when he played the Star Spangled Banner. This is just more proof that the whole world is getting tired of the way the worlds big governments are controlling or trying to control everything.
He should do what we elected him to do, the POTUS is supposed to be a figure head and not over involved in politics but rather devote their time to improving foreign relations.

If he was a brave man he would go over there personally without body guards and deal with the issues first hand.

I like the title "Vice Emperor" which can be interpreted in more than one way.
