yup, that 1% really makes a difference....i wish the libs could be honest and admit the 1% talk is only a way to get the low-info voter upset. the libs are jealous of anyone doing better than them so they feel a need to break them to 'their' level. pitiful way to live.

I'm kind of excited to see this happen. I think I'll burn a one dollar bill to help celebrate!

Doubt that the current congress could resolve anything. They have often talked about common ground but when there is non- they all stick with their money backers -corporations,finance,insurance ,real estate--oil-to much greed and not enough of what is good for the country as a whole.

How can anything get done when every person that gets elected to office has their own personal agenda to carry out.

Just once I would like to hear a candidate say I'm going to work with the problems we already have, I will not introduce no new problems or programs. The only change we need is to change the government back to when it was functional.

EarlyBird When was the gov't ever functional?

Now leftwing, many sources, not just those "right wing" that you despise, consider the sequestration idea all the President's.
I think this time, shooting oneself in the foot can be done equally, by both lefties and righties, in stereo and living color.

Maybe the White House can just go threaten a few more people, like they did Bob Woodward.

I liked this mea culpa, billgrr.
I can respect Bob Woodward for standing when it's hard to do.

Who knew this? Perhaps not many MDN readers, I for one.
But I do know (and I'm sure somebody else can point this out to me too) that a person can find whatever info he/she wants on the internet--pro, con, or indifferent to any stance one takes.
billgrr, thanks for recommending MarketWatch. I'll trip over there now and again to see what's up. According to them, right?
Im really happy to see that my comment of today was not posted!! I must have hit to close to home for the powers to be, and they could not stand to see the truth in print! NO BIG SURPRISE, this is what our country is coming to, you hear only what they want you to hear!
Let the cuts begin. Bob Woodward can defend himself, does it well. Obama has "little" helpers.
Are we rich yet??
Yea, apparently, Obama watches too much Star Trek and Star Wars..

Funny Earlybird. I think I'll wait until summer. Street Dance and cry in my beer at the same time. What more in life could you wish for. Except for no Mosquitos.
