Castro has been the el presidente of Cuba for 54 years or so.

Castro has outlasted Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, and my guess is that he will still be the leader of Cuba after Obama's term has expired.

Cuba is still there.

Besides, it would be nice to leave Guantanamo and visit with the locals once in a while. Cigars and rum, and I am sure that in Cuba there is no smoke free environments like there is here in socialist North Dakota.

Probably more freedom under Castro than under the goofballs who occupy time and space the North Dakota legislature.

now muleskinner, we, ourselves, the voters of ND voted for smoke-free environments, to remove all ashtrays from every public and work site, including tractors, etc. We are doing a pretty good job of killing our OWN freedom. At least the House voted to allow us to keep our ashtrays and the Tobacco Coalition should pay for all the stickers for all the entrances and NO stickers need to be put on garage doors of businesses.

yeah...Castro is still there (barely) But because he is a "dictator". If the United States were ruled by a dictator, I'm sure there would be a dictator still in power that could rival Castro. But because we are a democracy, we are allowed to vote for our leaders. Just thought you might want to know that there is a difference between a dictatorship and democracy...because you don't seem to understand the difference between the two.
