KENMARE - The Our Redeemer's Christian School volleyball team swept Kenmare in a non-district match Thursday.

Sophomores Makayla Gartner and Morgan Olson led the way for the Knights with 11 kills each in a 25-13, 25-22, 25-23 victory. It was ORCS' second consecutive straight-set victory to open the season.

"The match went well," ORCS coach Kara Nunziato said. "It was faster than our previous game (against Velva). I saw lots of nice things. We were all pretty good, especially our front row defense. They just did really well."

Olson and senior outside hitter McKensie Popinga led the Knights with three blocks each.

Sophomore libero Lauren Hendrickson finished with a match-high four aces and 20 digs.

Both teams compete in the Coal Country Invitational in Hazen on Saturday.
