An untitled lithograph/digital print by Minot State University art instructor Ryan Stander, is part of the “Oil and Water” exhibit at the Northwest Art Center’s Hartnett Hall Gallery in July. “Oil and Water,” on display in the Hartnett Hall Gallery through July 30, is the collective effort of 37 regional artists, addressing the use or misuse of natural resources. Printmaking students and faculty from Minot State University and several other regional schools tackled issues ranging from flooding and diversion in the Red River Valley to development on the Bakken Oil Formation. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
