After a nationwide search, the Prothman Company has presented seven candidates for the position of city manager for the City of Minot.
After reviewing the candidates on Tuesday, the local Search Committee has narrowed the list to four. They are:
Harold L. Stewart II. Stewart is presently the city manager for Knoxville, Iowa. He holds a master of public administration and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Kansas.
Casey Bradley. Bradley is the auditor and chief operating officer of Stutsman County. He holds a master of public administration degree from Penn State, and a master of accounting and financial management from DeVry University. He is a veteran of the Air Force.
Lee A. Staab. Staab is the president of Versar Engineering and Construction. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy and holds a master of engineering from the University of Illinois, as well as a master of arts from the U.S. Army War College. He is a veteran of the Army.
Justin M. Rice. Rice is presently the installation inspector general at Minot Air Force Base. He holds a bachelor of science in aviation business and a master of science in aerospace operations from Embry Riddle University. He is a veteran of the Air Force.
A community reception will be held Monday, July 14, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Grand Hotel in Minot. The reception will give the public an opportunity to meet the candidates. The following day, the Search Committee will hold individual interviews with the candidates. A timeline for a final hiring decision has not been made.
