Suzanne Mary Harr, 52, Big Timber, Mont., passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014, as the result of a sudden brain aneurism. Through her generous gift as an organ donor, many other lives will be saved.
Suzanne was born March 9, 1962, in Minot, to Clarence and Dorothy Mathson. She grew up in Minot and attended Minot State University, graduating in 1988, and later graduating from University of North Dakota Law School, Grand Forks, where she received her J.D. in 1991.
Suzanne practiced law in North Dakota and Minnesota. While working in Bemidji, Minn., she met her future husband, Tom Harr, of Roundup, Mont. They later moved to Roundup and were married in the Snowy Mountains in 2007. Suzanne became a rancher's wife and they lived on various ranches in Wyoming and Montana. She was a lifetime animal lover.
Suzanne is survived by: her husband, Tom Harr, of Big Timber; mother, Dorothy Mathson, of Minot; stepson, Levi Harr; brothers, Brian (Judy) and Craig; half brother, Terry; and half sister, Faye Hayes; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and her loving dogs.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence, and niece, Tanya Mathson Ginther.
Cremation has taken place.
Graveside services will be: Saturday, June 14, at 11 a.m., in Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
