Eva Keller, 81, a resident of Atwater, Calif., passed away Friday, May 2, 2014, in Fresno, Calif. Eva farmed with her husband, Joe, on the family farm near Selz for 45 years.
Eva was born Nov. 17, 1932, in Orrin, to Frederick K. and Barbara (Bachmeier) Kriedeman. She worked at Kurtains Cafe in Harvey until she married Joe C. Keller on Nov. 21, 1949, in Selz. Upon retiring from the family farm, she was employed at St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey.
Eva was a member of the Selz Homemakers Club and the Ladies Auxiliary. Eva enjoyed family gatherings, her grandchildren, playing cards and bingo.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Joe C. Keller; her mother, Barbara (Kriedeman) Mack; her stepfather, George Mack; and sister-in-law, Shirley Kriedeman.
Eva is survived by: her six children, three sons, Gary (Peggy) of Minnesota, Wayne, of Atwater, and Joe L. (Susan) of Atwater, and three daughters, Diane Chase, of Atwater, Sandie (Brad) of South Dakota and Sarah Gilbertson, of Washington. She is also survived by her siblings Carl (Terry) Kriedeman, of Washington, Clarence Kriedeman, of Velva, and Robert (Donna) Mack, of Colorado. She leaves 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Funeral services will be: Friday, June 20, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Selz.
