Wayne Tuttle, Minot, was a fortunate fisherman March 30, pulling this large northern pike through the ice in about 5 feet of water. The big pike easily bottomed out an 18-pound scale so the fish’s weight was unknown. It measured 43 1/2 inches. Tuttle was fishing in the Parshall Bay area of Lake Sakakawea.
