I strongly urge the State Fair Board to take Pioneer Village on as a partner because it affords classes of students and the general public to experience how citizens lived in the past.
Pioneer Village brings individuals to experience both the State Fair and the village during events such as the Hostfest and the fair as well as during spring through fall. Classes of students from the surrounding area frequent the village. Leaving the village in the present location will bring visitors and new citizens to the area because it is visible to them and can draw them into the fair grounds during the hours for the village.
