Robin Lynn Fox (Red Butte Woman), 38, Parshall, died Sunday, March 9, 2014, in Roseglen.

Robin was born March 11, 1975, in Spokane, Wash., the daughter of Henry and Annette (Healy) Fox. She attended school in Seattle at the Indian Heritage School. She graduated from Fort Berthold Community College as a licensed practical nurse and furthered her education at the University of North Dakota, where she received her bachelor of science degree in nursing. In 2004, Robin met her companion, David, in Wendover, Nev. They made their home in Parshall, where she was currently the director of the Rockview School for Tots.

Robin loved to dance and had a smile that could light up a room. She excelled at everything she did. She had many friends and was good at sharing a joke. She had the kind of laugh that when you heard it, it made you laugh. Robin loved her family and cherished spending time with them.

She had a special attachment to her Auntie Elaine and even though they were apart for several years, they were still soul sisters. You would always find them together at family gatherings. Robin was a big Seattle Seahawks fan and so proud when they won the Super Bowl. She was a member of the American Legion Post 253 Ladies Auxiliary in White Shield and the White Shield Spirit Riders.

Robin is survived by: her fiance, David Neaman-Merkley, of Parshall; daughters, Annette Marie Fox, Ree Ana Fox and Autumn Rain Fox, all of Parshall; father, Henry Fox (Jeralyn), of Parshall; sisters, Alayna Fox, of Poplar, Mont., and Heather Fox, of Fort Belknap, Mont.; brothers, Danny Fox, of Poplar, Jerry Bear and Darryl Look, both of Seattle; stepsisters, Dunreathe Demary (Bill), Crystal DeCent and Lois Youpee; stepbrother, Walter Old Rock (April); and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annette Marie Fox; sister, Nanette Healy; and her grandparents.
