Liahona Hill Corbett, 37, Fargo, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, in her home in Fargo.
Liahona Hill was born on Dec. 1, 1976, in Minot, a daughter of Marshall and Sherry (Ramsdell) Hill. She was raised and educated in Minot, graduating in 1996. She furthered her education by attending the Job Corps CNA program, where she met her future husband, John.
On Dec. 18, 1999, Liahona was united in marriage to John Corbett in Grand Forks. They made their home in Minot before moving to Fargo. Liahona loved children, playing dominoes and singing.
She is survived by: her husband, John, Fargo; parents, Marshall and Sherry Hill, Minot; siblings, Veda Jo (Mike) House, Maxbass, David (Leslie) Hill, Franktown, Colo., Jaelann (Fred) Anderson, Salt Lake City, Jeffery (Susan) Hill, of Sawyer, Valorie (Bill) Spanogle, Bethlehem, Pa., Marcia (Dave) Mergenthaler, Helena, Mont., Lydia (Eric) Hirshfeld, Anchorage, Alaska, Donna ( Shane) Sivertson, Eau Claire, Wis., Sariah (Sherman) Sierra, Fargo; and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Liahona was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and two nephews, Kevin Mergenthaler and Matthew Martin.
Funeral service: Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 2025-9th St. NW, in Minot.
Burial: Will take place at a later date in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery, Kenmare.
Visitation: Friday, one hour prior to the service, at the church.
