After high school, Delores worked for Schaffer Drug. She also worked at Montana-Dakota Utilities in Kenmare. She was a Tupperware dealer and manager in 1987 and 1988, but her full-time job was taking care of her family and home.
Delores was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bowbells. She had been a member of the Walster Homemakers since 1965. She was an excellent cook and baker, and taking care of her grandkids was her pride and joy.
