Melvin Pederson, 97, Minot, passed away peacefully, Feb. 8, 2014, at Trinity Homes in Minot.
Melvin Paul Pederson was born on June 28, 1916, in Churchs Ferry, to Paul and Marie (Anderson) Pederson. Melvin served in the Army from 1941-1945.
In 1970, he married Gena (Hanson) Wilson, his wife of 44 years.
Melvin is survived by: his wife, Gena; daughter, Vickie Kennedy; sisters, Rita Larson, Edith Codding; brother, Loyd Pederson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Betty Dressen, in 1967; and his daughter, Joan Zeman, in 2013.
A Celebration of Life Service: Will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Trinity Homes Chapel, Minot.
Cremation has taken place and burial will be in the spring at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
