Minot Daily News

Our Loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully joining her loving husband in Heaven on Jan. 1, 2014, in Seattle.

Florence, who went by Elaine, was born in Minot, N.D., on Dec. 26, 1934, to Edward and Agnes Hoppman. Elaine attended and graduated from Surrey School, and in 1953 married Elmer W. Bradwisch. Florence and Elmer had 7 children and in 1966 moved from the Surrey, N.D., area to Springfield, Ore.

Elaine was a homemaker and she enjoyed sewing and baking, making some of the best cinnamon rolls around! In 1981 Elaine and Elmer moved to Washington state, where Elmer worked for Sorenson Transport in the Chehalis area. Elaine was a very loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother and welcomed all who entered her home.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years; her son, Rodger Bradwisch; daughter-in-law, Dawn Bradwisch; a sister, Lillian Grabow; and 1 great-grandchild.

She is survived by: daughters, Joyce Daigneault, Janet Laskowski, Joann Stewart, Jody Borden, and Jordine Voss, and one son, Rodney Bradwisch; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Arlene Guthrie, Darlene Dickman, Viola Ojala, and brother, Richard Hoppman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Heaven now has one more beautiful angel and we will miss our angel dearly until we are together again.

Services will be held at Central Evangelical Free Church, Centralia, Wash., at a later date.
