A search committee has narrowed the list of prospective candidates for the position of Minot city manager to four.
Initial interviews will take place this week. Three candidates are from out of state so interviews will occur over Skype on Friday, said Lisa Jundt, city human resources manager. The names of the candidates are expected to be released Friday, and further interviews conducted the week of Feb. 17.
The top four candidates include three men and one woman. They are from Minot, Montana, Kansas and Rhode Island.
The city received 36 applications for the position. The city plans to have a new manager hired by early March to work with current city manager David Waind before Waind retires at the end of March.
