Trinity Health Foundation is honored to be among the organizations participating in this year's Giving Hearts Day. Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour online fundraiser to give donors the opportunity to contribute to their favorite nonprofit online and to have their contributions matched.
Trinity Health Foundation is capable of participating in this year's fundraiser thanks to our Foundation board, which has lent its time, counsel and talent for decades. Each member engages deeply with the healthcare system's mission, and, like those who came before them, they set the standard for outstanding support in our community. Most importantly, their insight and energy is driving a transformation at the Foundation, which wholeheartedly embraces the kind of digital technology that lets us engage with the community through e-communications to enable our friends and supporters to make donations online.
We hope our community will take a moment on Feb. 13 to log on to impactgiveback.org and to support the nonprofit of choice. Funds raised by Trinity Health Foundation during this online event will be used to strengthen our heart and lung services, which last year earned recognition as one of the nation's 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals. With heart disease remaining the No. 1 cause of death for both men and women, what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day!
