A pipeline break that left residents of Holiday Park without water for nearly two days was repaired late Thursday afternoon.
Frozen conditions created difficulties in turning off main line from North Prairie Rural Water so that the leak could be fixed, according to park management. Residents lost water overnight on Tuesday. A contractor began work Wednesday morning, and water was restored about 4 p.m. Thursday.
The break, caused by ground heaving, was to a main line in the park, affecting an estimated 200 residents. Holiday Park is located along U.S. Highway 2 & 52 on Minot's east side.
