Jonathan Carr, left, a teacher at Our Redeemer’s Christian School, and Mac McLeod, executive director of the Minot Area Homeless Coalition, stand last week with food donated by the school’s National Honor Society and the Chapel Committee. The groups ran a two-week food and item drive. Non-perishable food went to KHRT’s Horn of Plenty, a yearly drive that provides Christmas meals for those who are struggling financially. A variety of toiletries, winter gear, toilet paper, change and other items went to the Minot Area Homeless Coalition.
