Dennis Lucier, 47, Minot, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, in a Minot hospital.

Dennis was born Aug. 13, 1966, in Minot, to Dennis and Carol (Tate) Lucier. He was raised in Minot and attended Minot High School.

Dennis held various positions during his working years. He was a subcontracted truck driver for a number of years at Sears while living in Minneapolis and locally he was employed at Lowe's Floral and Garden Center, Target and Jessen Roofing and The Minot Daily News until his health forced him out of work.

Dennis lived in his 47 years. He was a devoted Vikings fan and was often found enjoying a game of pool, cards or bingo. Dennis loved each and every one of his children and grandchildren, unconditionally. He will be missed for his colorful personality that included the telling of many jokes, his special way of "teasing" and the ending of many celebrations with fireworks.

His surviving family includes: his children, Tory (Deb) Fowler, Wyndmere, Ashley (Matt) Viland, Fargo, Destinee Reinhardt, Minneapolis, Miranda Meyer, St. Paul, Minn., Payge Hagel, Emma Tofte and Wyatt Tofte, all Minot; grandchildren, Hanna, Dylan, Madison and Cole Fowler, Mason, Thomas and Miley Viland; parents, Dennis and Carol Lucier, Minot; sister, Denise Lucier, Burnsville, Minn.; brothers, Brent (Nancy) Tate, Seattle, and Bill (Sandy) Lucier, Rosemount, Minn.; and nephews, Connor Hilstom and Trevor and Riley Lucier.

Dennis was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Effie and Harvey Tate and Blanche and John Lucier.

Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Minot.

Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.

There will be no reviewal, however, family and friends are invited to sign the memorial register book on Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
