The City of Minot has issued its final street project update for 2013. Projects that are wrapping are are as follows:
- Detours remain in effect for the Sixth Street Underpass project. The city will update the public on the opening of the intersection as safety measures involving traffic signs or signals and lighting go into place.
-Thirteenth Street Southeast is closed from about 21st Avenue to 37th Avenue. Either the intersection of 31st or 37th Avenue with 13th Street will remain accessible through the duration of the project. The project is behind schedule and will go into next year. Plans are in the works to, as a minimum, place impervious surfaces in key locations such as intersections and driveways for the winter. Work on the project will continue as long as weather allows.
- Work continues on the roads leading to the new Ramstad Middle School in anticipation of the school's opening later this month.
In addition, there remain several small pockets of construction throughout the city, which will continue until winter.
