LASIK seminar scheduled Nov. 12
Dr. Darrell Williams, an ophthalmologist at Trinity Health in Minot, will offer an informational seminar on laser vision correction Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Trinity Regional EyecareMinot Center, located at Plaza 16.
Laser vision correction is a technique to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism by reshaping the cornea using a concentrated beam of light. It can enhance the enjoyment of any work or recreational activity by reducing dependency on glasses or contacts.
Williams, who pioneered LASIK in the Minot region, will explain the screening process and the actual LASIK/PRK procedure. The free seminar begins at 7 p.m. People may register by calling TLC-EYES (852-3937).
Trinity Eyecare schedules symposium
Trinity Regional EyecareMinot Center will host a Retina Symposium for area providers on Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Sleep Inn & Suites.
Featured speaker will be Dr. David Jacobs a vitreoretinal specialist with Trinity Health, who will update providers on new technology for diagnosing and treating retinal diseases.
