Rebecca "Tish" Damron Hingst, 59, of Des Lacs, formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Rebecca attended Gallia Academy High School Class of 1971. She loved driving her kids on the school bus working for Minot Public Schools. She loved spending time outdoors camping, boating and fishing.
She was the daughter of the late John L. and Edith Damron. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Charles M. Tackett, and a nephew, Chad Nunn.
Rebecca is survived by: her loving husband of 31 years, Roger Hingst, of Des Lacs; a son, Shane (Brandy) Tackett, of Gallipolis, Ohio; a daughter, Kimberli (Kent) Jolley, of Gallipolis; stepsons, Anthony, Bruce, and Jerry Hingst; granddaughter, Caytlyn Hall, of Gallipolis; grandson, Trenton Osborne, of Gallipolis; two sisters, Diane Damron and Kathi Meadows. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
