Francene Kelly Azure, 34, Bismarck, formerly of New Town, passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, in Bismarck.

Francene Kelly Azure was born March 19, 1979, to Francis and Marcia Azure in Minot. They had moved to New Town in 1983, where she attended school. During her middle school days she participated in Tai Kwan Do and was the first girl to join football.

Francene earned her GED at Fort Berthold Community College and began her life with her first husband, Tobias Lingle. They were blessed with a daughter, Elyssa Lingle. She was later blessed with two more daughters, Amanda and Rosie Little Swallow, during her second marriage to Newlyn Little Swallow.

Francene worked several jobs throughout her young life, from owning her own daycare to working on the TAT Buffalo Project. She was a hard worker and always willing to do her best to provide for her children. She was great at fundraising for her daughters and nieces for school events. Francene was always with her daughters and had many good, lifelong friends.

Recently she was living in Bismarck where she was continuing her education and working at Denny's Restaurant. Francene was a loving and caring person who will be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Rosalie and Sidney Whitebody and Flora and Frank Rhodes; sister, Rosie (Ogden) Azure; brothers, Travis and Donavon Azure; and nephews, Robert and Francis Ogden.

Her surviving family includes: her daughters, Elyssa Lingle, Amanda Little Swallow and Rosie Little Swallow, all New Town; parents, Francis and Marcia Azure, New Town; sister, Flora Wolf, New Town; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral service: Today, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m., in Johnny Bird Memorial Hall, New Town.

Interment: Snowbird Cemetery, New Town.

Wake service: Was Thursday in the Johnny Bird Memorial Hall, New Town.
