FALL FAIR TO BE HELD SEPT. 28 IN LANSFORD The 25th annual Lansford Fall Fair will be held Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lansford Community Center. The event includes a bake sale and a "Harvest of Bounty" raffle.
A luncheon of homemade soup, sandwiches and pies will be served.
The event is sponsored by church women's groups from the community.
DATE SET FOR ANNUAL CRAFT AUCTION Rose Valley Lutheran Church, rural Des Lacs, will hold its 28th annual craft auction Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. There will be homemade crafts and baked items.
Pie and coffee will be served following the auction.
TURTLE MOUNTAIN WOMEN OF ELCA TO MEET SEPT. 28 The Turtle Mountain Women of the ELCA will hold their Fall Gathering at First Lutheran Church, in Minot, on Sept. 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration and morning refreshments will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The theme for the day will be "Go Therefore" focusing on Matthew 28:19.

Angie Speiser, of Minot, will open the day with a presentation on the ELCA Malaria Campaign. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Andrea De-groot-Nesdahl, of Sioux Falls, S.D. The Rev. Heather Brown will lead the closing communion service.
Special offerings of the day will be given to the ELCA Malaria Campaign. Those attending are asked to bring a personal care items to be donated to the Minot Domestic Violence center.
The $7 registration fee includes a noon lunch. Reservations are requested by calling 852-4853.
CROSS ROADS BAPTIST CHURCH TO HOST 'MY HOPE AMERICA WITH BILLY GRAHAM' INFORMATIONAL MEETING ON SEPT. 28 Cross Roads Baptist Church will host an informational meeting about "My Hope America with Billy Graham," a nationwide evangelistic outreach event, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to noon in the church at 415-28th Ave. SE, Minot.
During the event participants will learn more about the My Hope project, receive key materials and get a discipleship overview of how to share the Gospel.
The session is free, however people should call 1-877-769-4673 to RSVP as space is limited.
The My Hope program began in 2002 when Franklin Graham asked the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to take the gospel around the world. It will culminate in November, the same month Billy Graham will turn 95.
The movement began in four countries in Central America. Now, 10 years and 57 countries later, it is spreading across the United States.
