Andrew "Andy" Clayton Johnson, 25, Eden Prairie, Minn., died unexpectedly June 10, 2013, at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated June 14 at Pax Christi Catholic Community in Eden Prairie. Private family interment followed.
He was born Nov. 3, 1987, in Minneapolis, Minn., a son of Garth Johnson, who grew up in Minot, and his wife, Deb Johnson. Raised in Eden Prairie, he graduated from Holy Family Catholic High School in 2006. He attended the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
An avid outdoorsman, his true passion was hunting with his father and their two dogs, Drake and Chilie. He also enjoyed time at the family lake cabin, where he went boating and tubing in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor aspects of his personality which his family and friends will especially miss.
He is survived by: his parents, Garth and Deb Johnson, Eden Prairie; a sister, Libby Johnson, Chanhassen, Minn.; grandparents, Colleen D. Johnson, Minot, Dorothy Limoges, Claremont, Calif., and Donald Fowler, Maple Valley, Wash.; uncles, Grant (Katie) Johnson, Eden Prairie, Sean Fowler and Ryan Fowler, both Maple Valley, Wash.; aunts, Terri (Jerry) Klema, Elk River, Minn., Deanna Fowler, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., and Kari Fowler, Maple Valley; cousins, Sarah Alaniz, Rancho Cucamonga, Rachel and Kendall Johnson, both Eden Prairie, Todd Klema, Anoka, Minn., Jason (Dezi) Klema, Clayton and Gillian Klema, all of Maple Grove, Minn., Jamie (Abby) Klema and Miles Klema, all of Marengo, Wis.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clayton H. Johnson.
