Minot police reported early-morning burglaries Thursday and Friday, arresting three young male suspects found in the area following the third incident.
Thursday morning at around 4:30, officers responded to an alarm at Budget Music and Video at 1944 S. Broadway. Entry had been made through the front door, with merchandise reported missing.
Friday morning at 3:30, officers responded to another alarm call, at B&D Market at 600-3rd St. NE. The front door had been battered, but no entry was evidently made.
About 45 minutes later an alarm sounded at the same Budget Music and Video location as the previous morning's call, with the door broken in and merchandise again taken. This time police observed three suspicious persons, who fled on foot but were quickly apprehended.
Two unidentified Minot-area juveniles, ages 17 and 13, and Seth Heim, 18, of Minot, were arrested and charged with two counts of criminal conspiracy to commit burglary and refusing to halt.
Additionally, Heim was charged with carrying a concealed and dangerous weapon, possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
One of the minors was charged with burglary regarding the Thursday morning incident. Other charges are pending.
