Carol Anderson, 55, Minot, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 11, 2013, in her home.
Carol Susan Middler was born Aug. 27, 1957, the daughter of Patrick and Faye (Van Dyke) Middler, in Wyandotte, Mich. She was raised and educated in Wyandotte and later moved with her mother, to Trenton, Mich..
Carol was once married to Russell Gagnon. From this union, a daughter, Rachell was born.
Carol later met Marty Anderson in 1991. They were married June 17, 1995, at the Des Lacs United Methodist Church. They made their home in Reno, Nev., until 1996, when they moved to Minot. In 2002, they moved to Willoughby, Ohio. They moved back to Minot in 2008, and had resided in Minot since.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, craft work, sewing, latch hook, and gardening. She loved her two cats.
Her loving family includes: husband, Marty, Minot; daughter, Rachell Gagnon, and her daughter, Courtney, Madison, Ohio; stepdaughters, Amber, Chrissy, and Ashley; sisters, Linda (Vern) Mundle, Minot, and Nancy Middler; brother, Patrick (Kate) Middler, New Boston, Mich.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dave and Georgette Skarstad, DesLacs; and a few nieces, nephews and cousins.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial service: Friday, June 15, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Des Lacs United Methodist Church.
Visitation: Friday, one hour prior to the service, at the church.
Memorials: Are preferred to the Souris Valley Animal Shelter, Minot.
