ESMOND Edward Gumeringer, 85, Esmond, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the St. Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey.
He was born March 28, 1928, to Joseph and Margaret Gumeringer, in Esmond. He served in the Army at the Panama Canal from 1951 to 1953. He married Mary Ellen Donahue on July 25, 1955, in Bowbells.
Survivors: wife; daughters, Janie Lee, Park Rapids, Minn., Lorrie Thoemke, Fargo, Connie Koenig, Roseau, Minn.; sons, Gary and Guy, both Esmond, Paul, Roseau; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; twin brother, Edmond, Esmond, brother, William, Bismarck; and sister, Delores Hager, Balta,
Funeral: Tuesday, 11 a.m., St. Boniface Catholic Church, Esmond.
Burial: Church cemetery.
Visitation: Monday, 5 to 7 p.m., in the church.
Rosary and parish vigil: Rosary Monday, 7 p.m., with parish vigil at 7:30 p.m., both in the church.
