Alexius placed at the top of the initial round of competition in the travel and tourism business simulation category. DECA is an international organization for college students preparing for a variety of careers. Collegiate DECA programs engage students from a variety of educational disciplines, while maintaining a strong focus on business-related areas such as marketing, management and entrepreneurship. Activities promoted by College DECA integrate with and enhance the student’s college curriculum. Nearly 2,000 students, advisors, alumni and business professionals gather for the conference annually. Participants at ICDC compete in 20 different competitions, putting their experience, skills and knowledge to the test while representing their college/university and competing for top international honors.
