Thelma P. Anderson, 94, longtime Donnybrook resident and farm wife, passed away in the Kenmare Hospital on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
Thelma P. Berg was born Oct. 20, 1918, to Ole and Minnie (Stene) Berg, in Donnybrook. She was united in marriage to Ralph H. Anderson on Dec. 26, 1939, in Minot. Ralph passed away on March 5, 2003.
Thelma was an avid quilter and a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church.
Thelma is survived by: her sons, Jerome D. (Noriko) Anderson, Lakebay, Wash., and Franklin D. (Kathy) Anderson, Donnybrook; daughters, Sheryl (Dennis) Rehder, Minot, and Alexis (Dennis) Huff, Donnybrook; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; sisters-in-law, Zola Mae Berg, Ardell Berg, Lila Cline and Billie Earls; and brother-in-law, Gerald Anderson.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Raymond, Alvin, Vernon and Allen Berg; sister, Arline Axness; and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Funeral: Friday, May 10, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Faith United Methodist Church, 5900 U.S. Highway 83 N., Minot.
Visitation: Today, May 9, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Public prayer service: Today at 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
