BOWDON Lydia Wipf, 90, Jamestown, formerly of Bismarck and Bowdon, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in a Jamestown nursing home.

She was born Feb. 26, 1923, to Andrew and Lydia Kleinsasser, near Chaseley. She married Paul Wipf on Oct. 15, 1943, in Bowdon.

Survivors: daughter, Phyllis Johnson, Jamestown; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Pueppke, of Erie; and brothers, Sam, of Chaseley, and Eli, Milwaukie, Ore.

Funeral: Saturday, 11 a.m., Bowdon Community Church of God, Bowdon.

Burial: Wayside Cemetery, Bowdon.

Visitation: Today, 3 to 6 p.m., in Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden.
