The North Dakota State Fair has announced that its rock concert lineup for 2013 will consist of Journey and Creedence Clearwater Revisited. Tickets will go on sale April 10 at 8 a.m.
Journey will be the first rock act to perform in the grandstand on Saturday, July 20. One of the most popular rock bands of all time, Journey has created some of the best known songs in modern music. Since the group's formation in 1973, the band has earned 19 Top 40 singles and 25 Gold and Platinum albums. Classic hits including "Don't Stop Believin," "Who's Crying Now" and "Open Arms" will be joined with recent hits from their new album "Eclipse."
Creedence Clearwater Revisited, who will wrap up the North Dakota State Fair on Saturday, July 27, guarantees a non-stop feel good show that will keep concert attendees dancing. Classic hits such as "Proud Mary" and "Born on the Bayou" will fill the grandstand.
Journey tickets will be $65 for standing room and reserved seating. Creedence Clearwater Revisited will be $20 each with all tickets being general admission.
When purchasing any Journey ticket, rock fans can also add on the purchase of a Creedence Clearwater Revisited ticket for only $10.
Tickets can be purchased online at (www.ndstatefair.com), on Facebook at (www.facebook.com/ndstatefair), by phone at 852-3247 or in person from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at the State Fair Center. A newly revised mobile website will also allow ticket purchases from mobile phones. A ticket presale for State Fair Foundation members will occur on April 8 and 9. Dates for the 2013 State Fair are July 19-27.
