BISMARCK (AP) - The person who won a $1 million Powerball prize in North Dakota has claimed the money, and wishes to remain anonymous.
The winning ticket in the March 13 drawing was sold in Wahpeton, and state lottery officials say the winner is a resident of that city. Officials say the winner has no immediate plans for the money.
Powerball is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The jackpot for the Wednesday night drawing was at $260 million.
