GRAFTON (AP) - A jury has acquitted a North Dakota man accused of slipping a sleep-inducing sedative into a co-worker's coffee.

Forty-four-year-old Richard Sanchez, of Ardoch, was charged with felony reckless endangerment.

Authorities say the drugs made the co-worker sleepy and created an unsafe work environment.

Sanchez was working at the Forest River Bean Co. in Park River at the time of the alleged incident.

The Grand Forks Herald reports that the jury returned a not guilty verdict after a two-day trial in Grafton.
