ROCK LAKE - Raymond Hauschulz, 94, Rock Lake, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, in a Mandan hospital.

He was born July 22, 1918, to Max and Karolina Hauschulz, near Rock Lake. He enlisted in the Army on Oct. 6, 1942, and served in the battles and campaigns of northern France, Normandy, Ardennes, Rhineland and central Europe. He married Gladys Wolter on Feb. 24, 1944, in Fresno, Calif. He was discharged from the military Oct. 23, 1945.

Survivors: son, Duane, of Wilmot, Kan.; daughter, Marilyn Facchina, Rock Lake; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Friday, 11 a.m., All Nations Lutheran Church, Rock Lake.

Burial: In the spring in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rock Lake.

Visitation: Friday, one hour prior to the service, in the church.
