The North Dakota State Fair has released the names of the Grandstand headliners for its 48th annual event this year, July 19-27.
Country legends Tim McGraw, Scotty McCreery, Sawyer Brown, Brantley Gilbert, and Toby Keith will be performing, and are included on the 2013 Grandstand Showpass. The pass can be purchased for $85, with the option of Standing Room or Reserved Seating tickets available.
Country star Tim McGraw will open at the State Fair on Friday, July 19. With recent hits "Truck Yeah" and "One of Those Nights," his last appearance at the North Dakota State Fair was in 2005.
Brantley Gilbert's performance July 21 will be a leg on his first headlining tour, the "Hell on Wheels Tour." Country-pop band Sawyer Brown will perform July 24, with "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery taking the stage the following evening.
Toby Keith will close the Showpass Lineup as part of his "Live in Overdrive Tour." The show will feature past favorites like "Whiskey Girl" and "Should've Been a Cowboy," along with hits from his new album "Hope on the Rocks." Musically active for 20 years and with 16 studio albums, Keith's last appearance at the state fair was in 2001.
NPRA Championship Bull Riding will be held July 22 and 23. Tickets will be $14 for adults, $6 for ages 7-12, and free for children 6 and under.
There are two rock concerts scheduled for July 20 and 27, with further details available at a later date.
