Anna Mae Peterson Fletcher went to be with the Lord on Feb. 10, 2013, in Longview, Wash.
She was born April 24, 1928, in Minot, to Ingvald and Katherine (Blake) Peterson. Anna was one of 11 children and enjoyed being a part of a large family. Anna attended school in Norwich. She and her children moved to the Longview area in 1960.
Anna married Delmer Simonson in 1946 in Grand Coulee, Wash. They later divorced. She married John Hansen in 1963. He preceded her in death in 1972.
In 2006, she met and married the love of her life, Ron Fletcher. She thoroughly enjoyed their relationship and all the love and attention that he gave her. They made many special memories during their time together.
Anna was preceded in death by a special friend, Gus Fernandez; four brothers, Lavere, Don, Clarence and David Peterson; three sisters, Margaret Barsness, Olga Enbody and Emily Ward; and her beloved son, Steve Simonson, on Jan. 6, 2013.
She is survived by: her husband, Ron Fletcher; daughter, Kathy (Larry) Herlocker; stepson, Michael (Nancy) Fletcher; stepdaughter, Tami (Ken) Ege; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph (JoAnn) Peterson; two sisters, Esther Larson and Elizabeth (Doug) Bacon; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Peterson and Betty Peterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service was held Thursday, Feb. 21, in Rose Valley Friends Church in Kelso, Wash. Burial was in Rose Valley Cemetery, Kelso.
