HARVEY - Emily Sommer, 97, Harvey, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, in a Harvey nursing home.
She was born April 29, 1915, to John and Caroline Fuhrman, near Bowdon. She married Eldon Sommer on April 6, 1933.
Survivors: daughter, Dorothy Almer, of Harvey; son, Lyle, of Harvey; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sister, Tanny Hazen, Yucaipa, Calif.
Funeral: Saturday, 10 a.m., Bethel Baptist Church, Harvey.
Burial: Carrington Cemetery, Carrington.
Visitation: Today, 2 to 7 p.m., Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.
