Heritage Singers show a success

February 21, 2013
Minot Daily News

The Heritage Singers are still at it, in The Vegas Motel today through Saturday. Even if you can't get a ticket for their 25th annual Variety Show at this late date, stop by between 6 and 9:30 p.m. to check out the silent auction items.

You may bid without a ticket, and the items change every night. Individuals like Arlene Saugstad have joined local businesses to providing the "booty" on display - termed "booty" because the secret theme this year is "Pirates of the Mouse River Basin."

The show features costumes, parrots and the "Olympic Men's Synchronized Swimming Team" - fresh from what one must speculate was a last-place finish.

The overall result? Seemingly effortless entertainment.

Contact The Minot Area Council of the Arts at 833-6585 for availability of seating for shows this weekend.
