Sacarra Molina's layup with 40 seconds remaining in the second half lifted the Minot State University women's basketball team to a 67-65 victory over Minnesota, Crookston on Saturday at the MSU Dome.
But Boag's perfomance shined the brightest in the win as the junior forward finished with 33 points and 20 rebounds. It was her second consecutive 30-plus point game and her third in four games.
"Carly's play has been steady all year long," MSU coach Sheila Green Gerding said in a press release. "She has had double-doubles in just about every conference game and the credit goes to her. She has a great work ethic in practice and she leaves it all on the floor every night."

Despite Boag's performance, the Beavers (12-12 overall, 8-12 Northern Sun) trailed for much of the game and faced a 37-32 halftime deficit.
MSU's second-half defense led the come-from-behind victory, limited the Golden Eagles (7-17, 4-16) to 22.6 percent shooting in the final 20 minutes.
The Beavers travel to Northern State on Friday and Minnesota State-Moorhead on Saturday for their final NSIC regular season games.

MSU crushes Minnesota, Crookston in home finale
The Minot State University men's basketball team shot lights out in its final regular season game at the MSU Dome, hitting 10 3-pointers in the first half before coasting to an 88-55 victory against Minnesota, Crookston on Saturday.
The Beavers (10-14 overall, 9-11 NSIC) went on an early 23-6 run with 3s by Dominique McDonald, E.J. Williams and Thomas Korf. Six players hit 3s for MSU.
"We moved the basketball and being unselfish with the basketball to get great shots for each other," MSU coach Matt Murken said. "Shooting gets contagious after you've made a few and after a few guys make the extra pass and that really carried us tonight."
Anthony Enriquez, Josh Johnson and Korf all finished with 15 points to lead the Beavers. Enriquez also added six assists.
The Beavers travel to Northern State on Friday and Minnesota State-Moorhead on Saturday to close out the regular season.
