UNDERWOOD Richard Buchert, 85, Underwood, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, in a Bismarck hospital.
He was born July 13, 1927, to Jacob and Katharine Buchert, near Max. He married Bernice Hougom on June 23, 1957, in Towner.
Survivors: wife; daughter, Dee Ann Buchert, Fargo; son, Bruce, Hazen; sister, Lorraine Zwicker, Bismarck.
Funeral: Saturday, 10 a.m., Augustana Lutheran Church, Underwood.
Burial: Coleharbor Cemetery.
Visitation: Saturday, one hour prior to the service, in the church.
