Vocations Club sets date for a benefit breakfast
Minot Vocations Club will serve a breakfast Jan. 6 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the lower level of St. Leo's Catholic Church, 218-1st St. SE.
Biscuits and gravy, French toast, scrambled eggs and sausage will be served.
Proceeds of the free-will offering will go toward support of seminarians.

Minot Christian Women's Club will meet Jan. 8 from 12:15 to 2 p.m. in the Grand International Inn.
The cost for the "Let's Celebrate" luncheon is $10 inclusive.
Linda Olson, of Minot, will demonstrate how accessorizing can turn anything basic black into something spectacular. The speaker will be Norma Guttenberg, of Glasgow, Mont. The topic of her talk will be "Stepping Stones to Freedom."
