Minot church hosting living nativity today

A living nativity will be presented today from 4 to 8 p.m. at West Minot Church of God, 1105-16th St. NW.

The nativity features real people and animals. There will also be a petting area for people to pet animals.

Coffee and hot chocolate will be served.

Supper, worship events to be held Thursdays in Tioga

"The Welcoming Table," a time of supper and worship, was started Thursday in First Lutheran Church, Tioga. Supper is at 6:30 p.m. and a brief worship service follows in the fellowship hall of the church.

The worship committee of the church will host the event on Thursdays on a continuous basis. Everyone is welcome and are encouraged to "come as you are."

Winter retreat for teens scheduled in January

Child Evangelism Fellowship will sponsor WQ, a winter retreat for students ages 13-19, Jan. 4-6 at Crystal Springs Camp, east of Bismarck.

The theme of the retreat is "Not Yet Learning to Wait on God." Todd Erickson, of Bowbells, will be the speaker and Micah Schott, of Grand Forks, will be the worship leader.
