Predictable responses

The left's response to the tragic shooting in Connecticut is both expected and predictable, from Obama's fake tears, the call for more gun control and the lament of where's God?

Obama in true form and following Saul Alinski's "Rules for Radicals," who said you can't let any crisis or tragedy go unused, promptly got on TV and wiping away nonexistent tears lamented the deaths of the young children. I found this ironic because if the children were 6-7 years younger he would be perfectly fine with aborting them. But since this is pulling on the hearts strings of the American public and the mainstream media is dutifully fanning the flames for and promoting more gun control it was imperative for him to be seen saddened and in search for a solution to the problem.

This is essential since his "Fast and Furious" debacle blew up in his face, where he sold illegal guns to Mexican drug lords, in hopes of getting more gun control so this tragedy can't be wasted.

The shooting in the movie theatre in Colorado, the shooting in the mall in Oregon weren't enough to push people over the edge but this one the killing of young children might be the ticket for him. Will history someday reveal that he was somehow behind all these tragedies like he was "Fast and Furious" so he could consolidate his power and take total control of this country. Some in the left (Joel Heitkamp) are already questioning the ability of our government to work as they can't seem to get rid of those pesky tea party Republicans who keep messing up their plans. Germany didn't blame Hitler for burning down the Reichstag, because he blamed the communists, and no one blamed him for firing on his own troops starting a war with Poland but he did that also and his media dutifully reported what he told them to, just as ours does today.

As for the question, where's God in all this, what do these liberals expect? They chased Him out of the schools and booed Him from the floor of their convention but now since tragedy hits they want Him back to comfort the masses, but only on their terms. It might take a few more tragedies to truly open their eyes to their dire predicament. In the meantime the left will make an all out assault on our constitution and freedoms. It seems that if the left doesn't like something, no one else can either, they can't believe in it, have it or have the right to express their opinion if it differs from them. In other words if they wanted to hear anyone else's opinion they would give them one.

But fear not, God is still in his heaven, Christ is still in the hearts of his believers and Christmas is just around the corner. Christ came for times such as these. All these assaults and tragedies pale in the true meaning of Christ's birth when God came down to earth to save his people, the lost and the hurting, from their sins. Christ is the only way to a just and holy God and He loving provided the way for us to Him. Just ask Jesus; he'll tell you in his book, the Bible, and as for trials, tragedies and tribulation, check out Job.
