BISMARCK (AP) - A Bismarck woman says her wallet was stolen as she tried to buy drugs from an acquaintance.

Police Sgt. Mark Buschena says a 41-year-old woman reported to police that she'd gone to a basement laundry room in an apartment building on the 300 block of West Interstate Avenue to meet a man to buy drugs. Buschena tells the Bismarck Tribune that both the woman and the alleged drug dealer are homeless.

Buschena says that the woman took out her wallet to pay for the drugs, and a $100 bill was visible. She says the drug dealer took the wallet and left.

Responding officers did not locate him in the area.
