WILLISTON - Senior Jessie Kongelf netted a hat trick and senior goaltender Karlee Galvin made 44 saves for the Minot High School girls hockey team in a 4-1 win at Williston on Tuesday.
Williston took the lead 12 minutes, 54 seconds into the first period before Knogelf and the Majettes (4-2 overall) scored the final four goals in the final two frames.
Kongelf tied the game at 9:42 of the second period and senior forward Angeie Lothspeich gave MHS the lead roughly four minutes later.
Kongelf scored her second goal with 38 seconds left in the second period and tallied the hat trick at 6:11 of the third to push the Majettes' lead to three.
MHS plays at Dickinson on Saturday at 2 p.m. Mountain time.
