BEULAH Richard Welk, 87, Bismarck, formerly of Beulah, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in a Bismarck hospital.
He was born July 17, 1925, to Emil and Katie Welk, in Zap.
He married Tabea Schmidt Oct. 13, 1946, in Hazen.
Survivors: wife; sons, Tom and Tim, both Zap; daughter, Judy Welk, Beulah; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Pochant, Bismarck, Martha Winkler, Menoken.
Funeral: Wednesday, 10 a.m. CST, Zion Lutheran Church, Beulah.
Burial: Peace Lutheran Cemetery, southwest of Beulah.
Visitation: Tuesday, 5 to 7 p.m., in Barbot-Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah.
