"THE REASON' CONCERT TO BE HELD TONIGHT IN MINOT A family-friendly concert, "The Reason: A Family Christmas Experience" is scheduled today at 7 p.m. in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall at Minot State University. Nick Hall will be the guest speaker.

The aim of the event is to refocus families on what is most important at Christmas love, joy and peace.

All tickets are $15 each or $12 each for groups of four or more. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at (www.ticketfly.com).

VOICES OF NOTE SET DATE FOR HOLIDAY CONCERT ?The Voices of Note women's chorus will present "A Christmas Concert" Thursday at 7 p.m. in Bread of Life Lutheran Church, 1415-17th Ave. SW.

Directors for the choir are Roberta Johnson, Sharon Strube, Nadine Holmly and Deb Armstrong. Accompanist is Briana Schwan.

MINOT CHRISTIAN WOMEN'S CLUB TO MEET THURSDAY Minot Christian Women's Club will meet for a Christmas-themed luncheon Tuesday from 12:15 to 2 p.m. at the Grand International Inn in Minot. The cost is $10, inclusive.

The guest speaker will be Marge McClanahan of Branson, S.D. The topic of her talk is "Reforming Requires a Bit of Smooching and Pounding."

There will be a time of Christmas caroling and a "surprise" gift-wrapping session.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL BREAKFAST PLANNED SUNDAY Little Flower Knights of Columbus council members will serve a breakfast Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Knights of Columbus Club Rooms at 2601 N. Broadway.

A freewill offering will be received to continue with help in flood recovery and vocations.
