BISMARCK (AP) - North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm has been elected president-elect of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
Hamm will assume the duties at the beginning of next year. He currently is the group's vice president, and he served as secretary-treasurer before that.
The NAIC is an organization of the chief insurance regulators in the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the five U.S. territories.
Hamm was elected to a second term as North Dakota's top insurance regulator last month.
